Financial Assistance

At Mount Tabor we are committed to working with families no matter what their financial situation. Upon enrollment, if need is demonstrated, we will strive to find a scholarship partner willing to cover up to 90% of your child’s tuition.

It is our conviction that parents are the primary educators of their children and as such that each family needs to contribute towards the financial burden of education. At this time, we expect all families to contribute at least 10% tuition annually. Our financial aid process looks like this:

  1. Submit the first page of your Federal 1040 tax return form, as well as a good faith list of other available assets [i.e. brokerage or savings accounts or non-penalty loans against a 401K or other retirement account etc.]
  2. Schedule a financial aid meeting to discuss your situation and determine ways in which you may be able to contribute (there are limited teaching opportunities, as well as participation in the garden to table lunch program, etc). We will strive to develop a family plan that combines tuition payments, contribution opportunities, and scholarship to cover the cost of your child’s education.
  3. Carry out your pursuits per the family plan over the course of the year, submitting periodic progress updates.
