Meet Adam Lockridge

Headmaster

Adam Lockridge graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in Philosophy in 2007.  He began his work in Christian classical education in 2008 as a 5th grade teacher at Westminster Academy in Memphis, Tennessee.  After completing his MA in Philosophy at the University of Memphis in 2009, Adam began teaching upper school rhetoric, logic, and ancient history.  In 2014 Adam became the Director of St. Raphael School, an online homeschooling program, a pioneering effort in Orthodox education in the United States.  In 2022 he became the founding Headmaster of Mount Tabor School of the Liberal Arts in Kansas City, Missouri, a parish school of St. Mary of Egypt Orthodox Church.    

Adam is a Fellow of the Van Lunen Center for Executive Management of Christian Schools and a graduate of the Herzog Foundation Institute’s Leadership Development Series.  He currently serves as a mentor for several other Orthodox parish school startups. Adam lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with his wife Rachel and their four children.
